Launched in 1993, Saeftinghe is a Class C, Bm Ketch, whose homeport is in Ostende, Belgium. The hull is constructed from black steel, the ship has a gross weight of 54 tonnes and a total length of 21.5 metres. 8 trainees and 4 crew can be accommodated aboard the vessel. With a sail area of 221m2 and a sail number of TS BEL 778, Saeftinghe competed in the 2022 Tall Ships Races.
